What about using the microwave to defrost food?
We don’t recommend using a microwave. The reason is that some parts of the food may begin to cook while others remain frozen. We suggest defrosting your food in the refrigerator. And for heating up the food a bit when serving, pour warm to hot water (filtered if possible) or bone broth over it. This will enhance the flavor and palatability of the food and reduce the chances of digestive upset.
